The New Riverfront improvements will be planned and managed by Metro Parks and Recreation which is responsible for providing every citizen of Nashville and Davidson County with an equal opportunity for safe recreational and cultural activities within a network of parks and greenways.  They are charged with preserving, and protecting the region’s natural resources.

Rehabilitation of the Bridge Building (formerly NABRICO) and construction management of Cumberland Park was led by the Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency. The mission of MDHA is to create affordable housing opportunities for Nashvillians, nurture our neighborhoods, and build a greater downtown.
